April is upon us. The month where our dreams can become reality. The month where it can all go horribly wrong. Five wins on the spin is exactly what was called for after the loss at Wolves and amazingly we've got it. Priceless victories against Everton and Stoke. A little bit of luck has helped, but some of the football has been wonderful too. To keep it going would be remarkable, and the good times may roll on. We shouldn't look too far ahead and 'Take one game at a time,' despite being an overused phrase, is probably the right attitude to have to achieve your goals, but who can help it? Sunderland is all important, and could lead to a cease in momentum and growing confidence if a win is not the outcome. But if we do manage it, and we certainly do have enough in the tank to do so, then we go to Wembley full of the confidence of supreme favourites. Then the NLD could be the season definer, cause an upset (and it will be) and take the points, and suddenly anything is possible. But we have been here before. Heartbreak, missed opportunities, sloppy errors in dying moments. Are we better than that now? Are we good enough? The big teams thrive on the tough fixture lists. The big weeks. The big games. The big moments. And of the latter there will be a few. Now is the time to decide our own destiny. To show what we can do. It's time to make it our time. To make it possible for us to join the elite. To add another Cup Final to our illustrious history. To beat a big side when it matters, to improve our chances of a brighter future. It's time to blossom...
