Highlight: Being part of a Tottenham team that ripped Inter Milan apart at White Hart Lane.
Lowlight: Flapping, and missing, for West Ham's goal at Upton Park.

With such an error-bound first choice keeper as Gomes you would expect Cudicini to have got more opportunities than he has. The fact that he has not says a lot about what the coaching staff at Tottenham may think about him. In his prime with Chelsea he was a superb shot stopper, no doubt about it, but he was playing behind one of the best defences in the league. Carlo has done well to still be playing football at this level, or indeed any level, after his horrendous motorcycle accident and Spurs have shown their class by sticking by him throughout his rehabilitation. Cudicini's first match of the season was in the deeply disappointing home defeat (the only league defeat of 2010) to Wigan. Carlo then played against WBA (1-1) and Werder Bremen in Germany where some hold him partly culpable for Bremen's first goal. His first win in Tottenham's colours this season came in the 3-1 defeat of Wolves. Carlo was then replaced, [temporarily] by Pletikosa in the Carling Cup home defeat to Arsenal, before returning for the away defeat at Upton Park where he came for - and got nowhere near - a corner from which West Ham scored the only goal of the game. Carlo was then replaced by the fit again Gomes before returning for one more match, that being the destruction of the European Champions at The Lane.
For the last two matches that Spurs have played in (Fulham and Newcastle) Carlo has failed to even make the bench, Pletikosa taking his place.
As a second choice keeper you probably can't do much better than Cudicini but he is, on recent form, not the man to take over the number one jersey on a full time basis. For Spurs to really kick on and make a serious challenge for the title then a more reliable goalkeeper may be needed because when it comes to the crunch neither Gomes nor Cudicini have shown the type of form that is required.
